Applied Kinesiology

In order for the body and the spine to be stable and function efficiently, muscle strength has to be equal on all sides of the body. If the muscles are weak on one side, then the other side will be stronger and that will cause the spine to tilt or twist and misalign.  Have you ever seen a crooked television antenna?

If the wires on the pole are loose on one side, then the wires on the other side pull on the pole crooked. In the 1960s, Dr. George Goodheart developed a system of testing and correcting muscle imbalances.  He found that that all the different muscles are connected to or related to the organs, and that by stimulating the reflexes for the organs, you can strengthen the muscles

In my office, I test the strength of all major muscles of the body. If there are strength imbalances, I correct them by massaging the reflex points or stimulating the nerve roots of the spine with a cold laser. If the nerves going to the muscles are shut off or the nerve centers aren’t functioning properly, the electricity going to the muscles is turned off and the muscle becomes weaker.

By stimulating these areas, the body’s normal electrical current is restored and the muscle becomes strong again. It is kind of like fixing a short circuit or bad connection. After each correction, you will feel a difference in the muscle strength. About 20 percent of the time the brain or a related organ may need to treated to make the nerve and muscle function properly.

Muscle testing can also be used to get a lot of other great information about what is going on in the body.  I use muscle testing to locate areas of stress in the body by testing reflex and acupuncture points.  I also use muscle testing to look for joint misalignment and visceral (organ) constriction, cranial misalignment, mental stress and more.
